School Events

Students should feel like the event was made for them, and the adults in charge should feel like the room is under control. We begin with the school rules, administrator contact, schedule, venue limits, clean-music standard, and required paperwork. Students can still request songs, but the school keeps final say over what plays. From there, the event can include a DJ, photo booth, arcade games, casino-style fun-money tables, or a live game show. We plan the load-in, power, equipment space, staffing, and announcements before students arrive, then run the stations and schedule through the end of the event.

Why one team is easier

01We read teenage rooms A room of teenagers is not a wedding crowd. Energy has to stay up for three or four hours, and requests have to be handled without losing the floor. Twenty years and 2,000+ events of practice.
02Built for volume A school booth can shoot hundreds of photos in one night. Most styles include an attendant who handles the line and equipment; the Companion is self-serve. Every style includes instant text delivery and an online gallery.
03One contract for the ASB DJ, booth, casino tables, arcade, game show, all on one contract and one invoice. We've worked with ASB programs and school budgets since 2006.

What clients say

Super flexible when things changed in the schedule. Did a great job with announcements so no one missed a thing.

Highly recommend working with Apogee. We are very busy and had little time or energy, but wanted the wedding of our dreams. They made it happen with little help from us. They offer all the services you may need.

Questions, answered

How much does a DJ for a school dance cost in Oregon?
$1,250 for three hours with our Event DJ package, the same package we run for proms, homecomings, and winter formals. Travel is calculated by service and the exact charge appears in your quote.
Can students request songs at prom?
Yes. Requests are part of the job, and the playlist gets built ahead of time in our online planner, must-plays, do-not-plays, and the special moment music included.
How much is a photo booth for a school event?
Booths start at $545, and any booth is $200 off when it runs with the Event DJ. Every booth includes a custom overlay in your school colors, instant text delivery, and an online gallery. Most styles include an attendant; the Companion is self-serve.
What can you bring to a grad night?
Full production for an all-night party can include a DJ, photo booth, casino tables at $4,495 for four tables and a four-hour event with three hours of dealt play, and the $7,995 Arcade Party with eight full-size classics, DJ, and photo booth. The casino uses fun money only, with no real gambling.
Do you work with ASB budgets and school purchasing?
Yes. We've worked with ASB programs and school budgets for twenty years, and everything lands on one contract and one invoice.
