Event & Corporate DJ

A good event DJ makes the room feel easy. Guests hear the right music when they arrive, speakers are understood, special moments happen on time, and nobody has to hunt for the person with the microphone. Before your event, we use simple online planning to collect the schedule, names, announcements, music direction, and any linked streaming playlist. Your DJ stays in touch, helps shape the flow, and brings all needed sound, dance lighting, and microphones. We normally arrive well before guests, load in, run sound checks, and coordinate with the venue. Setup and teardown are included in the service, not added as surprise labor charges.

What clients say

Super flexible when things changed in the schedule. Did a great job with announcements so no one missed a thing.

Highly recommend working with Apogee. We are very busy and had little time or energy, but wanted the wedding of our dreams. They made it happen with little help from us. They offer all the services you may need.

What happens next

A party with a plan behind it

A good event DJ does more than play songs. We learn the room, build the run of show, and give your guests clear cues without talking over the party.

  1. Tell us what you are hosting

Share the date, venue, guest count, age range, and any program moments that need a microphone or music cue.

  2. Choose the right amount of coverage

We match the package to your event length, sound needs, lighting, and travel distance.

  3. Plan music and announcements

Send the must-plays, do-not-plays, names, presentations, awards, raffles, and timing in one online plan.

  4. We load in before guests arrive

Your DJ sound-checks the room, tests microphones, and coordinates with the venue or event lead.

  5. We read the room

The DJ handles announcements, keeps the schedule moving, and changes direction when the crowd tells us to.

Event & Corporate DJ questions, answered

How much does an event DJ cost in Salem, Oregon?
$1,250 for three hours, including sound, dance lighting, MC work, announcements, and online planning. DJ service includes 50 miles each way, then $1 per additional mile.
Do you DJ corporate holiday parties?
Yes. Holiday parties, company picnics, retreats, and award nights. The DJ is $1,250 for three hours, and any photo booth is $200 off when it runs alongside.
Is the DJ also the MC?
Yes. Introductions, raffles, award announcements, and timeline cues are part of the job, not an upcharge.

Yes, proms, homecomings, and grad nights. We've played school events around Salem since 2006, including proms at the Willamette Heritage Center.
What happens if our DJ can't make it?
We bring backup gear to every event, and with six DJs on the team there's a bench behind every booking. If we can't provide a replacement, you'll receive a full refund.
